Abstract

This paper tries to bring the light of the firmness of Draupadi, one of the foremost women characters in the Mahabharata. She is not a human, she is a super human. Draupadi is worshipped as a cult Goddess in many temples of south India. In the epic Mahabharata, Draupadi is the daughter of king Drupada, originally is known as princess Krishna (due to her dark complexion) the article “Draupadi the woman: Epitome of Feminity and Feminism”, eulogises the character of Draupadi in the following manner:
