Main Focus of all Upanishads is to elucidate the nature of Ultimate Reality but we also find deep psychological insight in these Upanishads. According to Ranade Upanishads discuss the psychological effects which results from the realization of ultimate reality by perfected Mystic .
Taittiriya Upanishad emerges as most significant Upanishad from Psychological point of view. In the light of different passages of Taittiriya Upanishad this paper will touch upon the psychological import inherent in the discourse of Bliss (Ananda) . This Upanishad emphasizes the Advaitic point of view Brahman –Knowledge, being regarded as the highest knowledge results in bliss and removes all fear. It is the knowledge of the unity of the self which completely removes all sense of duality and as a consequence all kind of egoism, selfish drives and desire to grab more and more are fully withdrawn and instead of all these the sense of harmonious unity and integrity developed among men who realize the philosophical wisdom.
