Abstract

The first revolution that transformed human economy, gave man control over his own food supply. Man began to plant, cultivate, and improve by selection edible grasses, roots, and trees. The term “Neolithic” was first used by the Danish Prehistorian, Sir John Lubbock in his book “Prehistoric Times” in the 19th Century to denote the stage of technological progress achieved by man.
