                                Abstract
                                        
                                            Delhi has been a center of the Sufi’s traditions and theirdargahs provided a glimpse of the composite social-cultural and political process. For centuries these dargahs had witnessed the rise and fall of Delhi. There are many localdargahs in Delhi but these are scattered. They are lost or hidden behind the memories. Moreover, Rulers and Nawabs of Delhi, and British Government did not take any interest in maintaining these localdargahs. However, these local dargahsexisted since medieval times and are very important from the historical point of view.
